Exhibit
This series of videos has been running since 2008 and began with a conversation with the artist Ana Jotta when she was setting up her exhibition Holichite at Galeria Miguel Nabinho. Throughout these 16 years, we've filmed artists on their exhibition opening days days. Some conversations last no more than two minutes, others are close to an hour long.
Que país este
This series began in 2020 after the lockdown of the pandemic, extending the video content to critical, political and sociological thinking about the state of the country (and the world). With guests such as Daniel Olivieira (the first interviewee), Miguel Sousa Tavares, Isabel do Carmo, Carlos Moedas or João Maria Jonet, topics such as cultural policies, teaching and education, racism and equality are addressed.
Sem Título
This video series began as a need to disseminate a deeper understanding of artists, their work and the way they create. The series was later acquired by RTP 2, which broadcast its “first season”. We subsequently extended the project to include not only artists but also thinkers, curators, architects and others. In this series you will find interviews with Pedro Cabrita Reis, Álvaro Siza Vieira, Jorge Molder, Philippe Vergne and Miguel Wandschneider.
Extras
Here we find videos that, due to their diversity or quantity, do not form a series on their own. From artists working in the studio to theoretical classes to conversations between gallery and artists during the covid 19 pandemic.
